The problem

Reviewing a page shouldn't take a meeting.

The fix usually takes minutes. Explaining where, what and on which screen takes much longer.

  • 01

    Feedback scattered everywhere

Screenshots in Slack, notes in a doc, a Loom in an email: nobody knows which list is the right one.

  • 02

    “Which button?”

Calls just to point at a misaligned element, because a sentence was not enough to find it.

  • 03

    No owner, no status

A comment in a chat has no assignee, no priority and no way to know whether it was fixed.

  • 04

    Impossible to reproduce

The URL, the screen size, the browser and the console errors are missing from the report.

How it works

Three steps, straight to Linear.

  1. Subscribe1
    01

    Point

Start a review on the page, then select a zone or click an element. A numbered pin stays on it, even when the layout moves.

  2. REC 0:12
    02

    Explain

Write the note, set a priority and labels. Draw arrows, shapes or text on the page, or record a video of the tab with sound.

    Send

The note is added to the page's Linear issue, with the cropped screenshot, the URL and the browser details. Your team works where it already works.

Features

Everything a review needs, nothing to set up.

  • Pins on zones and elements

Draw a rectangle or pick an element: the pin follows it. Right-click a text selection to comment on that exact sentence.

  • Draw on the page

Arrows, lines, rectangles, ellipses, freehand and text, in 15 colours. Drawings stick to the page and are saved as you go.

  • Record a video

Record the tab with its sound, up to 5 minutes. The video is uploaded to Linear and plays right in the comment.

  • Annotated full-page screenshot

The issue description holds a capture of the whole page with every pin, redrawn each time a note changes.

  • Every screen size

Switch to iPhone, Pixel, iPad, laptop or Full HD. Each note remembers the resolution it was written on.

  • Context attached

URL, browser, viewport and JavaScript errors are added to every report, so nobody has to ask for them.

  • Synced both ways

One issue per page, one comment per note. Resolve or reply in Linear and the page shows it; resolve on the page and Linear follows.

  • Your workspaces, your defaults

Switch between Linear workspaces and teams. Choose the project, status, priority, labels and cycle of new reviews.

Privacy

Your feedback goes straight to Linear.

Notes, screenshots and videos are sent from your browser to your Linear workspace with your own access. We only handle the Linear sign-in; your reviews are never stored on our servers.

FAQ

Is it free?

Yes. Install the extension, sign in with Linear and start reviewing.

What ends up in Linear?

One issue per reviewed page, with an annotated full-page screenshot in the description. Each note is a comment with its text, priority, labels, cropped screenshot, resolution and a link back to the page. Videos are uploaded to Linear and play in the comment.

Does it work on localhost and internal tools?

Yes, on any page Chrome can open: localhost, staging, preview deployments or tools behind a login.

Do my teammates need the extension?

Only to see the pins on the page. Everyone else reads and answers the review in Linear as usual.

Can I report a single bug without a review?

Yes. “New issue” captures the page and opens a prefilled Linear issue with the screenshot, the URL, the browser and the JavaScript errors, without signing in.

Which browsers are supported?

Chrome and the Chromium browsers that install Chrome Web Store extensions: Brave, Arc and Edge.

Stop turning page reviews into long conversations.
